After 14 years as SDT’s Artistic Director, Janet Smith leaves to take up the role of Principal at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds.

I am humbled, inspired and privileged to have worked with her for eight and a half years. Even from afar I will miss her from SDT but the future of contemporary dance in the UK is in fantastic hands with her at the helm at Northern.
